Solutions for the Packaging Industry in Times of Challenge and Opportunity

A Special Edition Design Sari-Sari for Design Week Philippines

Our current challenge with the expanding use of single-use plastics for packaging is that we have few effective methods for recycling. Through materials, design and a fuller understanding of the circular economy it is hoped that the audience will be able to better create packaging technologies and waste management techniques that can tackle this issue. This session will be focused on the types of packaging typically used in the Philippines but also provide case studies and examples of successful implementation of solutions from around the world.
